United Uptown Peace March and Fair

This Saturday I had the honor of being invited to participate in a peace march uptown. We set up nice and early for the event. There were several tables and we were assigned one of them. I want to take the time to shout out Stephanie of One Blue Heart at a Time for inviting me to attend. This event was a great opportunity to have our voices heard and to put an “hasta aqui” to the violence that is currently over running our communities. It broke my heart to hear the children and elders speaking up about how unsafe they feel in their own communities.

It was lovely to meet such amazing people at the walk and to be able to talk to people about my show and give them more information. I am forever grateful for such an amazing opportunity.
