I finally finished my Kundalini Teacher Training at the end of May. I have been integrating the teachings since then. I am so glad I was able to do this for myself. I feel so accomplished.

Life updates:
We have begun summer and it definitely isn’t summering like it used to. I had to take a job teaching summer school because a sis needs a little extra income. So here I am I had a whole 1 day off last week after the last day of school and then I had today off and tomorrow. The kids are in starting July 5th. I was also informed that due to the fact that there are a bunch of special education teachers leaving the school they will need me back in the classroom. This has basically cemented the fact that I will be looking for another job elsewhere. What will I be doing I don’t know but there has to be a better way. I want to work smarter and not harder.
Besides that we haven’t really planned out summer at all. Aidan wants to go to DR and I want to go, but I am still on the fence about it. I have to figure out what I want to do that will be fun for both Aidan and I. The date finally arrived for my brothers wedding so that was a mini-getaway to the Poconos. I was thinking of doing something like that this summer. Kinda mountains that I can take the dog with me and not have to pay for dog sitting.
My brother’s wedding was beautiful I was asked to officiate by the couple. So I had to write a script and say the words. It was so awesome the way my brothers included Aidan. Not that I expected any less but it was beautiful to see. I couldn’t help but get choked up. Seriously though it was an unconventional wedding and it really did fit them. During the processional Aidan was allowed to walk with his backpack on and they really didn’t get upset about him doing that which was so fire. I know my brother gets Aidan but I am still so grateful for that little gesture. Even though, Aidan wasn’t officially part of the wedding party my brother made sure that I got him a suit that matched and he got him a pocket square and tie to match the grooms men. He even got him a tie clip with his initials it really was super sweet. Aidan felt loved and accepted. I also want to shout out our new family for being so awesome with Aidan as well especially my sister in law Joell. Below You will see some pics from the wedding.

I began a new Sadhana called the Kirtan Kriya with the Brujas of Brooklyn. According to the 3HO website, “This meditation is said “Want to pull in all the loose ends, focus, and concentrate? Through this practice, the mind awakens to the infinite capacity of the soul for sacrifice, service, and creation. It is said that a person who meditates on this sound current for 2.5 hours a day for a year, will know the unknowable and see the unseeable. Research has shown that 12 minutes of Kirtan Kriya a day can improve cognition and memory function, and helps to prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.”
