Qué te pasa viejo año, qué te pasa?
Welcome 2023.
Hope your new year is off to a great start and that you got to spend it how you wanted doing something great. We spent it with family even though what we really wanted to do was ring in the New Year in some comfy pajamas. We compromised and went to my family’s house and left one hour after the ball dropped. Everybody wins that way.

Hola Comadres,
Life updates:
The rest of the week was great. We were in Jersey with my family most of the vacation and returned to NYC back on Wednesday even though my mom was protesting Ya’ll know me and even though I love her to death I need my space. In true Caribbean fashion there is always something to do and there is never time to rest. I was constantly going while I was staying there. It was a little obnoxious to be honest, which is why I definitely needed my space.
In other news, we were able to experience that first Christmas present that I bought Aidan. We went to go see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. We went as a family so my auntie came for the first time this is actually my favorite aunt that lives in Dominican Republic. They all had an amazing time. Aidan thoroughly enjoyed it. He had appropriate audience behaviors and focused on the show the entire time without asking to use his iPad or iPhone.
I haven’t interviewed anyone this week, but I have a few interviews set up for the coming weeks.
This week’s episode is interesting.
It features yours truly I did research regarding autism masking and inform all of you. I promise to bring on someone on the spectrum to have a more informed conversation regarding this topic. I linked all the articles that I read in the show notes.
Our episode together airs this Wednesday January 4th, 2022 at 5 am on all platforms where you consume your podcasts.
Last Thursday I was so grateful to have been invited by my sistars the Brujas of Brooklyn to attend a holiday shindig. It was nice to share space with each other and chop it up. As you know I am sober, but that didn’t take away from my phone I still had a great time. The ladies are amazing and was able to network and meet more people.
